Michael Tolensky, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer/Executive Director at TanenbaumCHAT, where responsibilities include overseeing the financial actions for all non-academic operations and collaborating with management and board committees. In addition, Michael is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Canadian Museum of Nature, supporting the institution's mandate to enhance appreciation for the natural world. Previously, at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), Michael held the position of Chief Financial and Operating Officer, where achievements included centralizing corporate services and modernizing IT systems. Michael's professional experience began at PwC, progressing from Summer Student to Senior Manager in the Audit and Assurance Group, demonstrating a strong track record in financial management, project completion, and mentorship. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Accounting from Schulich School of Business, York University.
