Collections Information Technician at Canadian Museum of Nature

Christina Kum serves as a Collections Information Technician at the Canadian Museum of Nature since March 2018, overseeing the museum's image collection as a Digital Assets Manager and specializing in copyright and intellectual property. Christina plays a key role in producing and coordinating content for the Canadian Museum of Nature blog and contributes to the CCIUCN Secretariat. Previously, as a Collection Assistant for the Invertebrate Collection, Christina implemented digitization strategies and enhanced operational practices. With a background in customer experience and various roles in organizations such as Indigo and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Christina holds an Advanced Diploma in Applied Museum Studies from Algonquin College and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Carleton University.
