Evangellos (Van) Vekris is a skilled Patent Agent and Managing Associate at Marks & Clerk with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Vekris holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto and a M.Sc. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Queen's University. Additional experience includes serving as an Executive Committee Member at the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and working as a Patent Agent at Sim IP Practice. Vekris has also held engineering roles at Texas Instruments and Ball Semiconductor, where expertise in process engineering was developed.
