Melanie Matthews is an experienced facilitator at the Institute for Change Leaders, where the focus is on equipping organizers with essential skills for social change through interactive learning. As the owner of Melanie Matthews Consulting, expertise in research, evaluation, and grant-writing services has been provided to non-profit social service organizations. A track record of success includes multiple grants acquired from foundations and government entities. Previous roles include a counsellor at Kids Help Phone, a research assistant at YouthREX, and a mental health worker at the Canadian Mental Health Association. Currently, at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres, Melanie serves as a research manager and clinical therapist, while also holding leadership positions at For Youth Initiative, focusing on research and evaluation management and supporting youth in their transition to postsecondary education.
