Frank Baša has been in the mining industry since 1984, when they began working as Refinery Manager and Environmental Co-ordinator for Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. In 1991, they moved to the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, where they served as Manager. In 1993, they became a Professor at Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology. In 2006, they took on the role of President and CEO at Granada Gold Mine Inc. and has held the same role at Canada Cobalt Works since 2015.
Frank Baša obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Metallurgy from McGill University in 1982, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Metallurgical Engineering from the same institution in 1982. Frank also holds a P. Eng. certification from the Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.E.O.).
