Donna Friesen is an experienced professional currently serving as the Vancouver Chapter Lead for Canada Learning Code since March 2017, where Donna has facilitated coding classes for girls and women, promoting a fun and engaging learning environment. Previously, Donna worked at TELUS as a Network Technician from April 1990 to October 2019 and served as a Flight Instructor at the Academy of Flight from 1982 to 1983. Donna holds a degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Technology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, obtained between 1987 and 1989, and an Aviation Technology Diploma from Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology, completed between 1981 and 1983.
