Derek Lee serves as the President Elect and a member of the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects and holds the position of Master of Urban Design Graduate and Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia since September 2021. Additionally, Derek has been a Partner and Principal at PWL Partnership Landscape Architects Inc. since 2009, leading design initiatives in master planning and urban design. As a Board Member of Urbanarium and with memberships in organizations such as the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, Urban Land Institute, and Canada Green Building Council, Derek demonstrates a commitment to the field of landscape architecture. Previous leadership roles include serving as President of the Downtown Vancouver Association and Chair of the City of Surrey Advisory Design Panel. Derek's education culminated in a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of British Columbia from 1994 to 1998.
