Peter Ball is an experienced professional in the fields of information security, risk management, and internal audit, currently serving as the Director of Information Security, Risk & Governance and Group Head of Internal Audit, Risk Management & Compliance at The VPS Group since November 2021. Prior to this role, Peter held various senior positions at Co-op from October 2015 to October 2021, including Head of Regulation and Head of Manufacturing & Supply Chain. Additionally, Peter's expertise in auditing and risk was further developed during tenure as Group Risk & Internal Audit Manager at Morrisons and Senior Manager at KPMG Advisory, with earlier experience at Ernst & Young, Skipton Building Society, and Vantis plc. Peter earned a BA in Economics & Business Studies from The University of Sheffield between 1998 and 2001.
