Niels de Greef has had a long and varied career in the hospitality industry. Niels began in 2003 as an Assistant Restaurantmanager at the Plaza Hotel Curaçao. In 2004, they moved to the Philips Management Training Centre Groenendael as a Duty Manager, where they were responsible for coordinating the various departments during the evening hours. In 2005, they became the Restaurantmanager of Restaurant Le Chevalier, where they rebuilt the FOH operation and introduced new menus, wine selections, table preparations, surprise menus and wine tastings, resulting in a 70% increase in turnover. From 2007 to 2009, they were a Project Manager at Stok & Huisman Horeca & Evenementen Management, where they worked on various projects, including helping one of their five enterprises, GuestronomicS, grow exponentially. In 2008, they became a Regional Manager at Vermaat Groep. In 2009, they founded Fousse Interior Elements, an innovative furniture design company that sold in over a dozen countries and won the ICFF Studio Award for most promising new design firm of 2011. In 2013, they founded ParkFlyRent, Europe's first airport carsharing platform. In 2010, they founded Coquilles & Cijfers, an interim label, and consulted for clients such as PostNL, Rabobank and several large hospitality companies. Finally, in 2018, they became the Chief Operations Officer at Camptoo, a rapidly growing sharing platform for campers and caravans. Niels's focus is on customer support, sales, HR, legal and community management, as well as developing internationally scalable insurance solutions. During their tenure, the company has added 4 new countries, 4 new languages and 4 currencies while having better unit economics allround and doubling the team while more than quadrupling the turnover.

Niels de Greef studied International Tourism Management and Consultancy at Breda University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a BA degree in 2002. Afterwards, they attended Avans Hogeschool, Schouten en Nelissen, and various in-company training institutes to study HR, Management, and Quality control.
