Agathe Rondeau is currently the Chartering Manager at Campbell. Prior to this, they worked as a Junior Freight Trader at Louis Dreyfus Company from October 2017 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for buying and selling physical vessel capacity, conducting supply & demand analysis capturing pricing imbalances, negotiating contracts with internal traders and external participants, and handling operational execution protecting the profitability of existing contracts.
Before their time at Louis Dreyfus Company, Agathe worked as a Chartering Officer at Promar Shipping Services from September 2014 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for recovering un-billed revenue after discovering discrepancies between contract clauses and invoicing, leading commercial and operational meetings with oil industry players globally (EMEA), supervising fast-crew-boat (FCB) operations, designing a procedure and accompanying Excel tool to track last engagements with prospective clients and to increase rates of follow-up and drive sales, and training peers within the chartering department.
Agathe has a wealth of experience in the shipping industry and has demonstrated their ability to successfully manage both commercial and operational aspects of chartering vessels. Agathe is an excellent communicator and negotiator, and has a proven track record of driving sales and increasing efficiency within their team.
Agathe Rondeau has an advanced business certificate from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in comparative literature from Hamilton College.
They work with Byomakesh Rath - Senior Voyage Accountant, Joseph Lin - Operations Manager, and Tey Wee Tee - Sr Operations Manager. Agathe Rondeau reports to Felix R. Kinck, Chartering Director.
