Michael Baeder is a Principal Researcher at Campbell and Company, contributing to research, model development, and portfolio management of a global market-neutral equity strategy since February 2018. Prior to this role, Michael was a Senior Researcher and then a Quant Associate at Citi, focusing on systematic FX strategies and cash equity/central risk. Michael's experience includes a summer internship as a Risk Technology Summer Analyst at RBC Capital Markets and a research fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, as well as a research assistantship at the University of Maryland. Michael holds a Master's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College. Additionally, Michael has studied mathematics, statistics, and archaeology at UCL as an affiliate student.
