Ana Light is an experienced professional in Jewish community engagement and programming, currently serving as Vice President of Student Programming at Berkeley Hillel since January 2020. In this role, Ana has enhanced accessibility and inclusivity within the Jewish community at UC Berkeley by implementing new programs and marketing strategies based on data analysis. Additionally, Ana collaborates on the Board of Directors to align Hillel's initiatives with student interests. As a Shultz Engagement Fellow with The Nachshon Project, Ana is gaining insights into Israeli life and Jewish leadership through specialized training. Involved in various capacities, Ana has also worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Helen Diller Institute for Jewish Law and Israel Studies, a Camp Counselor at Camp Ramah in California, and a Hebrew School Instructor, among other roles. Ana holds a Master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a High School Diploma from TVT Community Day School.
