Lauren Kurten has extensive experience in counseling and staff coordination, currently serving as a Residential Counselor at Rogers Memorial Hospital since September 2015. In addition, Lauren has held various roles at Camp Manito-wish YMCA since 2010, including Staff Recruitment Coordinator, where responsibilities involved co-recruiting, hiring, and training 100-120 seasonal staff. Lauren also served as Trips Director, leading a 24-day backpacking expedition in Idaho, and as Section Director, supervising staff and ensuring the well-being of campers. Earlier experience includes working as a Group Fitness Instructor at Marquette University and various positions at Camp Manito-wish YMCA, developing skills in leadership and mental health support. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Marquette University, completed in 2014.
