Somnath Manna has more than two decades of work experience in various roles and companies. Somnath is currently working at Camelot ITLab as a Principal. Prior to this, they worked at Cognizant as a Principal Architect and Director-Consulting, where they held the role from November 2018 to August 2021. Before that, they worked as an SCM Architect and Senior Manager-Consulting at Cognizant from April 2015 to October 2018. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at IBM India Private Limited in multiple roles including Senior Managing Consultant and Managing Consultant. Somnath also served as an SAP Mentor at SAP Community Network from May 2008 to December 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at TCS, Eli Lilly, Sony Electronics, Bristlecone Inc, and Larsen & Toubro Limited in various positions. Somnath Manna has demonstrated expertise in supply chain planning, SAP consulting, and project management throughout their career.

Somnath Manna attended South Point High School in Kolkata from 1980 to 1992. Somnath then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Jadavpur University, completing their studies in 1996. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in Systems and Operations from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
