Doug Jensen has extensive experience in manufacturing and operations management, currently serving as General Manager at Cameco Corporation since June 2009, where the focus is on achieving world-class manufacturing performance. In previous roles at Cameco, Jensen held positions such as Manager of Port Hope Operations and Manager of Cobourg Operations, emphasizing safety, people development, and lean transformation. Additionally, Jensen is the President of the Northumberland Manufacturers Association, advocating for local manufacturers since 2009. Prior experience includes a Shift Leader position at General Motors in the Oshawa Car Assembly Plant from March 1998 to May 2009, where operational leadership and accountability were prioritized. Jensen holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, earned between 1988 and 1992.
