Julia Burke Ferguson is an experienced professional in the fields of sound production, event management, and copywriting. Currently serving as the Special Events Manager at Camden International Film Festival since August 2021, Julia also operates as a Production Sound Mixer for Bone Deep Productions LLC since March 2018. Additional roles include freelance copywriting for Santa Fe Dry Goods, where Julia wrote web copy and drove site traffic from January to June 2023. Other notable experiences include serving as a CoLab Fellow at UnionDocs, interning at Oddnoise and Isobel, and participating as an Assistant Judge for the Peabody Awards. Julia holds a Master of Arts in Sound Art and Industries from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Comparative Literature from Hamilton College.
