Gill has extensive experience at Burlington County Institute of Technology, where the roles include Department Head of Social Studies and High School Social Studies Teacher, starting in August 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from The College of New Jersey and a Master's Degree in Teacher Education and Professional Development from Fitchburg State University.
