Matthew Young is an experienced safety and operations professional with a robust background in crowd management and security. Currently serving as Deputy Safety Officer at Cambridge United Football Club since November 2018, Matthew has also held key roles at CN Security Ltd, including Senior Operations Manager and Area Manager since February 2013. Previous experience includes supervisor roles at Show & Event Security Ltd from April 2007 to May 2013 and serving as Director at Youngs Plastering & Building Contractors from January 2004 to September 2010. Matthew has pursued extensive education in crowd science, risk analysis, spectator safety, and operational management, completing multiple degrees at The Square Metre between 2018 and 2021.
