Matthew Sampson is an experienced IT Director at Meridian Trust since July 2011, responsible for the strategic implementation and development of IT across the trust's schools. Concurrently, Matthew has served as Deputy Lay Clerk at Ely Cathedral since January 2008, contributing as a regular member of the Cathedral Choir. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Music at Trumpington Church, where responsibilities included choir direction and service performance, and IT Services Manager at City of Ely Community College, focusing on the development and maintenance of IT systems. Matthew's earlier experience includes directing music at St James Church in Finchampstead. Academically, Matthew attended Magdalene College, Cambridge, studying Chapel Choir and also earned a 1st Class Honours degree in Audio and Internet Engineering from Anglia Ruskin University.
