Bonney O'Hanlon

Product Manager at Cambridge Intelligence

Bonney O'Hanlon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

In 2010, Bonney started as a Supervisor at Triumph International and later became an Assistant Manager at Fossil Group, Inc. in 2013.

In 2014, Bonney worked as a GIS Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge, where they digitized 17th Century maps and added benchmark point data for research on road quality. They collaborated with historians and social geographers to ensure project deadlines were met.

Bonney continued as a GIS Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge in 2015, working on a research project on the history of the London Underground. They manipulated data attributes for current and historical stations, allowing for network analysis across individual tube lines. They also joined CAMPOP as a postgraduate GIS Research Assistant, researching and relocating historic market towns and integrating road maps for network analysis.

In 2017, Bonney joined Ito World as an Account Manager and later transitioned to the role of City Data Analyst. They analyzed and enhanced international transit data feeds, specializing in public transport data from Ireland and Northern Ireland. They also led GIS activities within the Data Ops team, utilizing ArcGIS and Inkscape for visualization and marketing purposes.

From 2019 to 2022, Bonney worked at Speechmatics® as a Product Success Manager. They managed the development of a transcription app and were responsible for product-driven resources and creating an online documentation portal.

Currently, Bonney O'Hanlon is a Product Manager at Cambridge Intelligence, starting in 2022.

Bonney O'Hanlon completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physical Geography from Newcastle University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended The Perse School from 2008 to 2010 and earned AS and A-Levels in Maths, Geography, Chemistry, and Biology. In addition to their formal education, Bonney obtained various certifications, including "Product Management Foundations" from Mind the Product in May 2022, and certifications in Python Scripting for Geoprocessing Workflows and Python Scripting for Map Automation from Esri in October 2016. They also completed the "Basics of Python (for ArcGIS 10)" certification from Esri in October 2016.
