Tim Garnett is an accomplished medical and corporate leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Chairman at Ophirex, Inc. since May 2021, Garnett is also a Board Member at MapLight Therapeutics, Inc. and an Equity Partner at Recode Ventures. Additional advisory roles include positions at Lindus Health, Biolojic Design, Ltd., Ukko, and Xentria, Inc. Garnett has been involved with Cambridge Innovation Capital's Advisory Panel since May 2021 and previously served on the board of Carmot Therapeutics, Inc. until March 2024. From December 1998 to April 2021, Garnett held several senior roles at Eli Lilly and Company, culminating as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President, where responsibilities included Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety, and drug development in Asia. Garnett holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from St George's, University of London.
