Karen Harvey is an experienced educator currently serving as a Classroom Teacher at Cambridge Friends School since August 2021. Previous roles include a 6th Grade Teacher at Acton Boxborough Regional School District, where a hybrid learning model was managed, and a Grade 5 Teacher at Korea Foreign School, notable for establishing an IB curriculum and leading the first PYP exhibition. Karen also taught 7th Grade Science at UP Education Network, and gained early experience as a substitute teacher and teacher assistant, alongside providing personalized literacy and math tutoring. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
