Gustav Vikander has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. Gustav began their career as an Enrolled Nurse at Stockholms läns landsting in February 2005 and worked in this role until June 2015. Gustav then transitioned to become a Registered Nurse at the same company and held this position from June 2015 to March 2019. Following this, Gustav joined Capio in June 2019 as a Förvaltningsledare Digitala Vårdsystem. Gustav worked in this role until June 2023. Currently, Gustav is employed as a Senior Business Analyst at Cambio Group, starting in June 2023.

Gustav Vikander completed their education at various institutions. Gustav began their studies in 2012 at the Swedish Red Cross University, where they earned both a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and a Kandidatexamen in Sjuksköterska, completing them in 2015. Later, in 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Health Informatics at the Karolinska Institutet, which they completed in 2019.
