Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies, where responsibilities include developing hardware for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and educational devices since July 2010. Previously, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer in the same company, contributing to firmware and diagnostic tool development. Prior experience includes work as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting engineering labs. Earlier in the career, Chris worked as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment. Education includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
