Gabriel Mares has extensive experience in both pastoral and administrative roles, currently serving as Assistant Pastor and Administrative Assistant at Calvary Church of Albuquerque since February 2020. Prior to this, Gabriel worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service from October 2019 to February 2020 and as a Property Adjuster for Farmers Insurance from March 2017 to July 2019. Gabriel also has a significant background in law enforcement, having served as a Police Lieutenant with the Albuquerque Police Department from August 1993 to October 2015. Educationally, Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Christian Ministry with a focus on Theology from Wayland Baptist University (2012-2016) and has pursued studies at Cross Christian Fellowship (2016-2018) and New Mexico Highlands University (1999-2003).
