Deepak Kumar, PhD has worked in the field of power electronics since 2013. Deepak began their career as an Assistant Professor at PSIT Kanpur (Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology) in 2013. Deepak then moved to Devineni Venkata Ramana & Dr. Hima Sekhar MIC College of Technology in 2018, where they held the role of Associate Professor and Head of Department. In 2020, they began working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Université de Sherbrooke, and they are currently working as a Power Electronics Engineer at Calogy Solutions since 2022.

Deepak Kumar completed their Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kalyani Government Engineering College in 2010. Deepak then went on to pursue a Master of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, which they completed in 2013. In 2014, they started their Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institute and completed it in 2018.
