Dougal Stanton's work experience starts in 2006 when they worked at SeeByte as a System Administrator. Dougal was responsible for the relocation of the company to a larger premises and improving facilities with minimal disruption to business. This role involved liaising with building management, utilities providers, and handling network and VoIP hardware installations.

In 2007, Dougal joined aap3 as a vendor and was situated at Cisco Systems (Leith). Dougal'sresponsibilities aligned with their role at Cisco Systems, which involved embedded C development on Cisco IOS, development of first-hop redundancy protocols, maintenance and unit testing, code and documentation review.

After that, in 2011, Dougal worked at Honeywell Security Group as a Development Engineer until 2013. There, they were responsible for the development of various engineering projects.

Lastly, in 2013, Dougal joined Calnex Solutions Ltd. as an Embedded Engineer, but the end date is not specified.

Dougal Stanton completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at The University of Edinburgh from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they obtained a Six Sigma DFSS Green Belt certification from Honeywell in December 2012.
