Andy Donohue is an experienced investigative editor currently leading investigations at CalMatters, a journalism outlet focused on California's governance and democracy. Previously, Andy served as Executive Editor of Projects at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting, overseeing impactful investigations and managing a significant budget. As Senior Editor, Andy launched the Reveal Reporting Network and supported early-career journalists of color through the Reveal Investigative Fellowship. Additionally, Andy was a board member at Investigative Reporters and Editors and a John S. Knight fellow at Stanford University. Andy's career also includes transformative roles at Voice of San Diego, Instituto de ILISA, and various reporting positions that yielded significant local and national stories. Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota.
