Carlos has lived in the Bay Area for over 30 years. He and his wife Grace, a native of Berkeley, have two kids who both were long-time campers and also on staff at Camp Tawonga. Graces brother was also a Tawonga camper and counselor many years ago. His niece and nephews were also Tawonga campers from as far away as Georgia and Virginia. Carlos is a CFO Services, Management Consultant. He retired as a Partner at Deloitte Consulting, and joined Ernst & Young as an Executive Director in the San Francisco office. Carlos has been involved in the Jewish community in Danville for many years, serving on the Beth Chaim Congregation Board of Directors, as the Vice President of Finance for the last four years.
He earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from Pitzer College and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Carlos and his family all spend a great deal of time in the outdoors – camping, hiking, skiing, climbing and mountain biking.
