Nathan Crock, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, including healthcare, academia, and technology. Nathan is currently working as the Principal Data Scientist at Premera Blue Cross, where they apply their expertise in data analytics and machine learning to improve healthcare outcomes. Prior to this, Nathan served as an Affiliate Faculty at Florida State University's Department of Scientific Computing.

Nathan also has extensive experience in technology development, having worked as the Director at NewSci, where they led the development of machine learning technologies and prototyped future products and services. Nathan co-founded and served as a Board Member at Call Simulator, a company focused on providing innovative solutions in the communication space.

Prior to their doctoral degree, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Scientific Computing from the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Nathan's educational journey began with a Bachelors of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics, which they obtained from Florida State University between 2008 and 2011. Nathan furthered their academic pursuits by completing an Associate in Arts degree in Mathematics at St. Petersburg College from 2006 to 2008.
