Tashenea Burns-Young is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Core Organizer at California Youth Connection since May 2023 and as an Admissions Associate at Cal Poly Humboldt since April 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Tashenea Ready Intern at the Tashenea Ready Foundation from April 2021 to May 2022 and as an Information Technology Specialist at Humboldt State University from March 2021 to March 2022. Tashenea's early career included a position as a Teen Associate Intern at A Place Called Home in June 2016. Tashenea is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science at Cal Poly Humboldt, expected to graduate in June 2024, with prior education in Math Education and Computer Science from Humboldt State University.
