Dan Montoya currently serves as Vice President of University Relations and Development at California State University, Long Beach and as Chief Executive Officer of the CSULB 49ER FOUNDATION, both positions held since October 2022. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Loyola Marymount University as Executive Director of Development, where responsibilities encompassed a central fundraising team for various on-campus initiatives, and at San Diego State University, where Dan held multiple positions including Assistant Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations. Dan's fundraising expertise spans over two decades, marked by significant achievements such as leading successful capital campaigns and growing donor programs. Dan holds a BS in Business Administration from San Diego State University and an MBA from Webster University.
