Ada Waelder has extensive experience in legislative advocacy and analysis, currently serving as a Legislative Advocate and Legislative Analyst at the California State Association of Counties® since January 2020. Previously, Ada Waelder worked as a Professional Staff Member and Research Analyst for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources from March 2017 to July 2019, and as a Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant for the United States Senate from June 2014 to March 2017. Early in the career, Ada Waelder was the Field Director for Laura Ruderman for Congress in the summer of 2012. Ada Waelder holds a degree from the University of Washington.
