Laura Abernathy Mancha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and education. Currently serving as a Community Liaison for the Office of San Bernardino County Supervisor Josie Gonzales since May 2014, Laura also holds significant roles as a Member of the Board of Directors with the California County School Boards Association and as a State Delegate for the California School Boards Association since December 2016. Additionally, Laura has been a Board of Education Member for the San Bernardino County Board of Education since January 2011. Laura Abernathy's background includes multiple internships focused on rehabilitation counseling and community support, and Laura Abernathy has previously worked as a Systems Change Advocate and Case Assistant. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University-San Bernardino and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, alongside an Associate of Arts degree from Chaffey College.
