Shawn Kerns is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations and Engineering at California Resources Corporation since July 2014. Prior to this role, Shawn Kerns held multiple leadership positions at Oxy from May 1993 to July 2014, including President & General Manager of California Heavy Oil and Oxy Elk Hills, as well as Vice President of Operations. Shawn Kerns has expertise in reservoir development, operations, and facility management, overseeing significant production efforts and supervising technical staff. Shawn Kerns holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
