Dr. Andrew Chang serves as President of the California Protons Cancer Therapy Center since December 2017 and Founding President of Proton Doctors Professional Corporation since November 2016. Additionally, Dr. Chang holds the position of Medical Director for Pediatric Radiation Oncology at Scripps Proton Therapy Center, a role maintained since February 2013. With extensive experience, Dr. Chang has also been Principal at Proton Center Development Corporation since 2011, and worked as a Consulting Radiation Oncologist for ProCure from 2012 to 2018. Previous roles include Director of Pediatric Radiation Oncology at both the Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute (2011-2016) and the Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute (2007-2011), along with serving as Assistant Professor at Indiana University (2007-2011). Dr. Chang completed a fellowship in Pediatric Oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and an internship in Pediatrics at Loma Linda University, also holding a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Classical Greek Language and Literature from the University of California, Riverside.
