Oscar "OG" Garcia serves as the Program Director at the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce since June 2019, leading initiatives in Business Acceleration, Consultation, and Training for a diverse group of business professionals. With extensive experience in entrepreneurship, small business start-ups, and access to capital, Oscar previously held the role of Affiliate Program Director for the SBDC Affiliate Program at CAHCC for a brief period in June 2019. Prior to that, Oscar was involved with SCORE Mentors from 2012 to June 2019 as a Business Counselor and Workshop and Training Lead, providing strategic consulting and educational workshops for small business development. Additionally, Oscar coordinated workforce and business development at the Sacramento County DHA from October 2011 to June 2019, working to connect economic development efforts with job creation for CalWORKs participants. Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Career and Technical Studies from California State University-Sacramento, along with a CTE Teaching Credential in Business and Finance.
