Clay DeLong is a Senior Environmental Scientist (Specialist) at the California Department of Water Resources since May 2019, following a tenure as Staff Biologist and Project Manager at ECORP Consulting, Inc. from March 2014 to April 2019, where responsibilities included rare plant surveys, wetland delineations, regulatory permitting, and project management. Prior experience includes a role as a Database and GIS Specialist at UC Davis from April 2008 to November 2014, where Clay DeLong designed and managed relational database applications and provided GIS support, as well as serving as a Field Botanist conducting field operations in the Sierra Nevada. Clay DeLong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology from the University of California, Davis, earned in 2010.
