Erin Ganahl has extensive legal experience in environmental and correctional law, currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General in the Environment and Correctional Law Sections of the California Department of Justice since December 2011. Prior to this role, Erin worked as an Associate at Lippe Gaffney Wagner LLP and as a Legal Fellow at the Environmental Law Foundation. Additional experience includes positions as an Associate Attorney at Angel Law, a Summer Law Clerk at the San Francisco County Office of the District Attorney, and a Summer Associate with Environmental Advocates. Erin began a legal career as a Paralegal at Keker & Van Nest, contributing to a robust foundation in legal practices. Erin earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from Bates College.
