Janis Clapoff is an experienced leader in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at The California Club since September 2024. Prior to this role, Janis held positions including General Manager at El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, and Managing Director at Lake Austin Spa Resort, where notable achievements included leading Lake Austin Spa to become the number one Destination Spa in North America. Janis's career also includes key roles such as Area Managing Director at Crystal Springs Resort, Managing Partner at Dancing Lemon Enterprises, and Managing Director at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. With a strong educational background, Janis earned a Master of Organizational Management from Antioch University Santa Barbara and a BA in Psychology from York University.
