Julie Ann Ballard is an accomplished music educator and composer with extensive experience in various roles within the music community. Since June 2016, Julie has served as the Vice President of Competitions and Chair of the MTNA Competitions for the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT). Additionally, Julie is an adjudicator for piano competitions and has been a choral composer for Hal Leonard Publishing Company since June 2013, with notable works spanning different vocal arrangements. Julie is also recognized as a pedagogical piano composer for The FJH Music Company and a sacred choral composer for Jackman Music Inc. Involved in academic contributions, Julie is a research presenter at the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy and has been teaching at Dr. Julie Ann Ballard's Piano Studio since June 2004. Julie holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California along with a Master of Music and Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University.
