Principal Data Scientist at Calico

I am primarily interested in applying machine learning to build predictive models for biological systems. My current research focuses on developing robust representation of biological states from high throughput measurements and building models to understand the transition among the states.

Prior to joining Calico, I worked as Principal Scientist in the bioinformatics group at P&G, where I analyzed the genomes of dandruff causing fungus and contributed to the understanding of the mechanism of action of zinc pyrithione for its antifungal activity. I also built the deep learning model for Olay personalized skin regime recommendation system.
