Alejandro Granados is a highly experienced data scientist specializing in computational biology and bioengineering. Currently, Alejandro serves as Principal Data Scientist at Calico Life Sciences since September 2023. Prior to this role, Alejandro contributed to the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network as a Data Scientist II in Computational Biology and as a Data Scientist from June 2021 to August 2023. Alejandro's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London, followed by a postdoctoral researcher position at Caltech from March 2018 to May 2021. Alejandro's formal education also includes a Master's degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, alongside experience as a visiting student at Harvard University.
