Malcolm Stewart is a dedicated professional with a strong background in research and sports management. Currently serving as a Research Technician at Calian Group since August 2022, Malcolm contributes to the development and testing of CBRN protection equipment for Defence Research and Development Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces. Previous roles include Intramural Coordinator at Queen's University, where responsibilities encompassed managing the intramural sports leagues and overseeing the hockey program. Additionally, Malcolm has experience as an Assistant Camp Director for Eco-Adventure Camp, and worked as a Hockey Referee, training new referees and managing game situations. Early career positions involved lifeguarding at MOVATI Athletic and the City of Ottawa, teaching swimming skills to diverse patrons. Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Biotechnology from Queen's University, complemented by an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Earl of March Secondary School.
