Timothy Johnson is a Digital Public Historian at @drtimshistory since November 2023, where creation and curation of history stories for social media platforms occurs. Concurrently, Timothy serves as a Teacher at Calhoun City Schools and an Instructor at Georgia Northwestern Technical College, both roles commencing in August 2019. Previously, Timothy was a Lecturer at Georgia State University from July 2017 to August 2023 and held the position of Allington Dissertation Fellow at the Chemical Heritage Foundation from June 2014 to June 2015. Additionally, involvement as a Dissertation Proposal Development Fellow in the Ecological History Group at the Social Science Research Council took place from April 2012 to September 2012. Timothy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in American History from the University of Georgia, completing this degree between 2008 and 2016.
