Umair Pervez is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Calgary Police Service since April 2024. In addition, Umair has been an Instructor at the University of Calgary since September 2018. Previously, a Senior Manager in Workforce of the Future at PwC from January 2018 to April 2024, Umair also contributed as a Steering Committee Member for Resilient Calgary from October 2018 to January 2021. Umair's involvement as a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum included serving as Hub President from March 2017 to June 2018. Additional experiences include roles at KPMG Canada as a Senior Consultant, and as a Business Process Analyst with The City of Calgary. Umair holds a Master of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business, a Master of Science in Organisational Psychology and Psychiatry from King's College London, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
