Kaz Matsumoto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in emergency planning and investigation. Currently serving as a Business Continuity & Emergency Planner with the Calgary Police Service since January 2022 and as a Death Investigator for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner since May 2018, Kaz has developed a strong expertise in crisis management and forensic science. Prior roles include Industry Safety Services Manager at STARS Air Ambulance from November 2010 to May 2018 and Account Manager at TELUS Advertising Services from January 1999 to June 2003. Kaz holds a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science and Technology from the University of Bradford, a Certificate in Emergency Management from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, and has studied Criminology and Law Enforcement at Mount Royal University.
