Lucas Maliniak is currently a Process Improvement Specialist at Calgary Economic Development since March 2023. Prior to this role, Lucas served as a Work Experience Coordinator at Mount Royal University Career Services from April 2021 to February 2023. Previous experience includes positions at the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary, where Lucas worked as a Career & Internship Advisor and Industry Coordinator, leading industry engagement and coordinating events. Lucas began professional development in the Engineering Career Centre as a Data Analyst and co-op student. In addition to roles in academic support and competitions, Lucas has a Master of Education in Work Integrated Learning and a Bachelor of Commerce focusing on Business Technology Management from the University of Calgary. Skills include industry engagement, event coordination, data analysis, and customer service.
