S. Monty Ghosh, MD MBT MSc MPH FRCPC ISAM, serves as an Assistant Professor and Doctor of Internal Medicine at the University of Alberta, focusing on addiction, mental health, and social vulnerabilities. With an active role as a patient advocate and thought leader, S. Monty Ghosh has held leadership positions, including President Elect of the Alberta Medical Association Addiction Section and contributions to national guideline committees. S. Monty Ghosh is also involved in teaching and clinical practice across multiple institutions, providing critical care to vulnerable populations, and has a diverse educational background including a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University and advanced training in Internal Medicine and Disaster Medicine.
