Christian Helmetag, CPA, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at Calamos Investments, a position held since August 2011. Prior to this role, Christian worked at Mesirow Financial from January 2007 to August 2011 as the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller. Christian's earlier career included a tenure at Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Manager from September 2000 to December 2006, and at Crowe as an Audit Manager from September 1995 to September 2000. Christian holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University.
